Suzhou MicroPort Orthopedics Scientific (Group) Co., Ltd. ( “MicroPort® Orthopedics China") was established in 2015 as part of the MicroPort Scientific diversification strategy. The company is located in Suzhou Industrial Park and is the second headquarters for MicroPort® Orthopedics after the one in the United States, and a subsidiary of MicroPort Scientific Corporation Co., Ltd. In China, MicroPort® Orthopedics has six subsidiaries: Shanghai MicroPort® Orthopedics Co., Ltd, Suzhou MicroPort OrthoRecon Co., Ltd, MicroPort Orthopedic Instruments Suzhou Co., Ltd, Suzhou MicroPort Spine & Trauma Co., Ltd, Suzhou MicroPort Rehab Technologies Ltd., and Suzhou MicroPort Springbok Extremities Co. Ltd. Microport® Orthopedics’ Suzhou headquarters covers over 24 acres and a total construction area of approximately 170,000 square meters. Its formation marked a significant milestone in the expansion of the orthopedics business in China. Since its establishment, Suzhou has become an important asset contributing to MicroPort® Orthopedics’ global footprint. The Suzhou headquarters has a team of professional R&D engineers and is equipped with a complete range of high precision, automated processing, and testing equipment as well as a range of laboratories including a non-destructive testing lab, physics lab, chemical analysis lab, and more. In addition, the site also comes with a purification workshop that meets the national standards for class III implant production. Post completion, the facility will provide a space that integrates the functions of production, R&D, training, office, and living facilities for MicroPort® Orthopedics operations in China.More
