Founded in 2021, Surface Moto is a consumer EV startup building micro-electric vehicles for urban commute. Born out of the cycling community, we’ve always believed in the power of bicycles and micro-mobility and how it can make our cities better. We build bikes with beautiful design, tech that works and a service model you can truly rely on that's lets you focus on what's important. At Surface, we design, engineer & develop our bikes in-house. Having our design & development in-house enables... us to really own the product experience. Using intelligent ML algorithms and on-road test data, we integrate intuition with facts to build one of the most advanced e-bikes in the marketplace. With advisors from companies like Nasscom, Philips, JCB, Tata Elxsi and Byju's, we’ve had deep and diverse industry perspectives that has helped us build a strong foundation. Our mission is to build micro-electric vehicles that enable millions of people to commute sustainably around the globe. Our first step towards that mission is The Surface C1, the most advanced e-bike in India. After a successful concept reveal in April 2022 during which more than a 1000 people pre-booked, the Surface C1 will be launched in April 2023.More
