We believe in the power of many, and in the uniqueness of one – that’s why we decided to create stylekontor. Founded in the lovely city of Hamburg, we set out to establish the new trading post of tomorrow's fashion industry. While the fashion market continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, the amount of already manufactured clothing that is thrown away, burned or dumped into landfills bef... ore even being sold is also increasing rapidly. At the same time only a small number of those that dream to become fashion designers succeed to follow their dream. We think that is unacceptable and that we can do better. We have fundamentally redesigned the make to-sell culture of the established fashion industry. Instead, we produce limited editions of independent designers on-demand, thereby allowing a sustainable production and reducing the incredible amounts of textile waste generated by today’s fast fashion giants. stylekontor provides its customers with a community to share and exchange, offers a crowdfunding marketplace, where independent designers can pitch their best styles, and handles production, logistics and customer service of all styles produced on the platform.More
