ST. JOHN'S INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S FILM FESTIVAL

The St. John's International Women's Film Festival highlights a well-documented gender imbalance in the film and television industries, where women continue to be significantly under-represented, particularly in creative and financial authority positions. This is especially true for Indigenous peoples, black people, and women of colour. This inequity has negative consequences for both the sector and society.
