Sportseed is a sports education and consulting organization that seeks to spread the spirit of Olympism in children and youth in India. Its approach is to incorporate three core domains of learning through sports: cognitive, affective, and kinesthetic. The organization’s services include trainings, consulting, and outsourcing, designed to enhance the measure of sports. It works with children and youth through educational institutions, sports clubs, and resident communities to get them to play... and cultivate the Olympic Spirit. Its programs include Sports Impetus: training programs designed for children and youth that brings various Olympic sports to schools; Sports Integrate: integrates sports education with school’s PE program to give students a structured initiation to Olympic sports; Sports Quotient: sensitization programs that focus on principles of positive sports parenting; Sports Teach: enablement programs for teachers and mentors across disciplines to develop sports conducive environment; Sports Steer: consulting services for assessing, building, and enabling sports in upcoming and existing setups; and Sports Out: sports program outsourcing for educational institutions and resident communities.
