Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO), located near Downtown New Orleans, has provided students and career professionals with higher education learning opportunities for over 50 years. Southern University at New Orleans is an HBCU. The public university has a partnership with Delgado Community College (DCC) to allow students to complete their first two years at DCC, and then their final two years at SUNO, if they want to take advantage of the โ2+2โ bachelorโs degree program. Academic... majors that qualify under the program offering are: Biology, Criminal Justice, and Mathematics. SUNO also has its own undergraduate and graduate degree programs in areas such as: * Business Entrepreneurship * Early Childhood Education * Health Information Management Systems * Museum Studies * Public Administration * Substance Abuse Counseling Admissions criteria to SUNO will consider completed coursework and GPA. The school may require minimum ACT scores as well. Residents of Louisiana are eligible for lower tuition rates, and financial aid programs are available to those who need additional assistance. Those who are interested in applying for financial aid are encouraged to speak with a specialist on campus who can review their options with them. The school offers quite a selection of activities in which students can take part. From Greek Life and sports to campus ministry and community service, there are many chances for students to get engaged in college life at SUNO.
