SOUNDSLICE
Soundslice was created by two people, Adrian Holovaty and PJ Macklin, to solve a major pain point in their lives as musicians: the process of learning a song is way too inefficient. For example, Adrian has relied on tabs since learning guitar in 1995; like many amateurs, he doesn’t read sheet music. As any guitarist knows, tabs are great at some things (namely, providing fingerings on specific frets/strings) but horrible at other things (subtleties of phrasing, rhythmic information, precise bending/sliding details).
