Solas is a cloud-based contextual data platform that enables companies to connect, engage and monetize across digital screens in a contextual manner to targeted audiences. Currently all videos are classified through categories and human input tags severely limiting the understanding of what is inside the video. They are changing this. They are surfacing the context in videos and allowing publishers to use their data platform to accomplish: 1) Contextual targeting of video ads, thus improving relevancy and CPM rates; 2) Enhanced suggestion/recommendation of videos to increase engagement levels.
