sobu is a start-up launched by a Swiss Post spin-off and, since 1st May 2016, an independent business. sobu’s planned internationalisation led to Swiss Post agreeing to a management buyout. It all started in 2011, back when sobu emerged as a recommendation platform from the pool of innovative ideas generated at Swiss Post. They have since successfully established theirselves on the Swiss market, gaining international recognition along the way. In 2015, they were nominated as one of the “Best in General E-Commerce” at the eCommerce Awards for Excellence in London.
