SLURP SMOOTHIE AND JUICE BARS

To roll out a retail and franchise chain of pressed juices and low fat frozen yogurt smoothies bars around the UK's shopping centre environment. As well as opening a production kitchen for the pressed juices to be able to wholesale the product. We will offer a range of low fat smoothies that tickle the taste buds, all of which have been tested, sampled and reviewed by our target market. These are similar to fruit milkshakes but with massive benefits, as the majority of milkshakes are made with... ice cream. Our smoothies are made with a low fat frozen yogurt that also has live cultures to help your tummy shout “thank you”. Although we will be focusing our attention on low fat frozen yogurt smoothies made to order and fresh pressed juices, we will also offer a range of other products such as banana bread, carrot cake and bottled water. Supplements will also be available to add to any drink at an extra cost such as Protein, Fibre, Energy and Detox. Once all four stores are open we plan to open a production kitchen for our pressed juices. This will open a new market for us as we will be able to retail the juice. We will also start to work on a franchise structure. We have seen first-hand how big the demand is for the “healthier option” in 2012/2013 especially when the product tastes so amazing, and this is increasing week on week. This is what the UK has been waiting for. To begin to ensure that this model and idea would indeed work, we applied for and gained £10,000 from School for Start Ups. With this we set up a pop-up store at food festivals and events around the UK. The feedback was amazing and has given us the knowledge that it works. With this investment we plan to open at 4-6 high footfall shopping centres in London and the UK, Working with a similar company previously I know how much footfall it takes to create the weekly sales that we would look to achieve.
