Skybridge’s origins commenced when Glen Makin, an electrical engineer, identified that the fledgling satellite broadcast industry was being poorly serviced, particularly in high need areas such as regional and remote areas of Australia. Glen’s background as a field engineer enabled him to identify with the needs of both technicians and customers. In 1999, Skybridge opened for business, with a focus on process management, visibility and quality control. Skybridge grew quickly as clients realised they could focus on their core business, safe in the knowledge that complex logistical and operation issues were being professionally managed for them.
