SKILLED SAPIENS

Skilled Sapiens is a community supported by IIM and IIT alumni to mentor and guide college students in their career & professional growth. The goal of this community is to provide a "Personal Mentor & Buddy" who will support and guide students in getting placements by improving their juniors' soft and technical abilities. All of the mentors in this community are either working professionals at top MNCs or have successfully launched their own businesses. We aim to provide one-on-one personal men... toring and hand-holding to all the members of our community until they are placed in their dream company. We also provide entrepreneurial guidance to our students who wish to establish their own businesses while pursuing their educational degrees. Our Mentor will be lifelong partners who will always be there for our community members when they need guidance and assistance. In B-schools, we want to create an informal mentor-mentee environment with the help of this initiative Our purpose is to establish a bridge between fresh juniors (Sapiens) and experienced seniors by providing a "Mentor" so that all juniors are well informed every time & be prepared for the worst and make the most of their campus & corporate time. Our mission is to transform new sapiens into skilled sapiens. We are working on two objectives: 1. Campus to Corporate – Here we mentor our students to get placed in their dream company, to ace the management challenges, and to excel in their academics as well. 2. Campus to Business – Here we mentor our students to start their own startups before even they pass out from their respective colleges. we coach our students to establish their own businesses. We provide personalized mentorships in MVP testing, market research, team building, product development, sales, marketing, and other areas to our students in order to help them become successful generational entrepreneurs.More
