Silk Displays was founded to create smart plastic materials designed to meet a wide range of critical performance and environmental parameters without compromise, materials that adapt to manufacturing and end use conditions while retaining their critical properties. We achieve this by designing solid state structures of plastic films incorporating the functionality of electronic circuits, liquid crystal structures, and key optical, barrier and structural properties. Replacing today's complex glass and gel LCD assemblies with a simple, plastic, solid state structure provides customers with higher value products and opens up markets once deemed inaccessible.More
