Shasta launched its first product, Steri-Soother, the world's first presterilised ready-to-use baby soother in 2006 and has also developed a concept for Steri Ova, the world’s first patented portable baby bottle steriliser. Steri Ova is faster, and smaller, than all current methods of sterilisation in the market for domestic use. Shasta worked collaboratively with Materials Research Institute and Bioscience Research Institute in Athlone IT to conduct materials research and conduct specific microbial testing to ensure the biocidal efficacy of the product.
