SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION
Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) is a national trade association that represents the semiconductor and microchip industries in the U.S. The association networks and coordinates the activities of member companies and offers technology trend and industry development updates. It is focused on issues such as domestic policy and economy; environment, safety, and occupational health; technology workforce and education; industry statistics; and world markets. SIA consists of more than 100 member companies that include Advanced Micro Devices, Cypress Semiconductor, Fairchild Semiconductor, and Texas Instruments. Semiconductor Industry Association was founded in 1977 and is based in Washington, District of Columbia.
