ScrapMap Limited, the company behind the new travel social media website ScrapMyMap, has launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. The website, which is designed to bridge the gap behind travel networks such as TripAdvisor and social media networks such as Facebook, provides a platform for users to document and socialize their travels. ScrapMyMap has been live for around a year, with a growing user base and interest from affiliates such as LastMinute.com and LateRooms.com.
