The pandemic had a significant impact on the global economy in 2020, and Africa was not immune. Schools in Nigeria have been compelled to give lessons and examinations online despite having little knowledge of how the system works. Some schools used Whatsapp for courses, while others used Teams and a few people used Google Classroom. Exams were taken for granted because the majority of students falsified their marks because they wrote from home. Following the tests, several schools were unable t... o provide results because they were unfamiliar with the school administration system and were obliged to pass all students against standard protocols. I'm not sure about other nations, but those were the biggest difficulties the educational system encountered throughout the Covid-19 era. I had to do some research and discovered that the present school management system wasn't helping matters because most of these firms don't upgrade their services to match customers' evolving needs, thus there should be a need for a new system, which we label SchoolDRIFT. What exactly is SchoolDRIFT? SchoolDRIFT, as you may have guessed, is a multi-level school administration system and educational resource center for schools across Africa built by African students to fulfill the demands of the African ecosystem. Our Approach: We intend to digitalize school processes by utilizing cutting-edge technology and innovations in order to realize the goal of each kid being significant. We will create an easy-to-use and administer system with several features to fulfill the demands of Students/Children, Parents, Facilitators, and the school. We intend to visit a large number of schools by January of next year in order to gather information about their varied demands for the proposed system, so that we can design what fits into Africa's school system. Our proposed Systems: We intend to incorporate a variety of systems, including fingerprint attendance and biometric systems, an embedded tailored live classroom, direct access and communication between educators and students, and many others. We must certainly visit schools in order to determine what they need, as this is what distinguishes us.More
