SANS Technology Institute provides degree programs in Information Security Engineering and Management. It leads the post-baccalaureate certificate programs with two distinct and different audiences in mind. The SANS Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Engineering targets information professionals who are unable to engage in the full master's program but who would still benefit from taking all three of the technical graduate courses at the core of the Information Security Engineering mas... ter's program. For individuals who already have an established technical base but seek to deepen their capabilities in a particular area, they offer other certificate programs that start with the same view on how offense informs defense, but then quickly diverge into materially different course progressions leading to a SANS graduate certificate in Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking, or a second graduate certificate in Incident Response. The Master of Science degree programs in Information Security Engineering and Management provide a comprehensive array of courses that allow students to gain technical mastery of technologies and processes that set apart the leading security practitioners in the field. Equally important are the additional courses and special programs the degree offers that enable students to master communications, project management, teaching, mentoring, and persuasive skills. The degree candidates will have the opportunity to study with a faculty, many of whom have written the books that other security programs use to direct their courses. Many students of the faculty hold PhD and master’s degrees from institutions like MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard Business School, and other leading schools.More
