"Without grant funding, many community services and school programs would not survive. In fact, many have been cut in recent years because of lack of funds. Nonprofit organizations and schools need to raise funds through grants and other donations to support these programs; they also need to raise public awareness about their efforts in order to broaden their outreach and support. However, most schools, and many organizations, do not have a dedicated writer on staff. My work provides vital train... ing and services to nonprofits, helping them acquire the skills and outreach they need to fund their programs. In today’s economy, this is a growing and much-needed field that is critical to helping programs survive and thrive. I offer training workshops to empower teachers and non-profit staff to design and fund the programs they need to achieve their goals. I also provide direct services, including grant writing and reporting, business writing, and social media/donor outreach support to schools and non-profits, as well as small businesses. My work helps nonprofits and small business to meet their own goals by creating stronger connections, programs and resources."More
