Since it was formed in 2008, Radio Isotope Méditerranée (RIM) has been a pioneering pharmaceutical laboratory in Morocco manufacturing FDG radiotracers (or radioactive fluoro deoxy glucose) used in radio-oncology PETScan imaging. This technology aims to precisely detect tumorous cells and makes the radiotherapy both more efficient and a catalyst to reducing its otherwise harmful side effects. The company intends to position itself as a laboratory specializing in the manufacture and marketing of leading edge products (FDG) and high added-value pharmaceutical drugs (biomedicines, immunotherapy, cancer drugs, etc.).
