Ribin (pronounced "ribbon") is currently operating in stealth mode. The company is on a mission to democratise college sports recruiting. There are 45 million youth athletes in the U.S. and over $4 billon worth of sports scholarships are handed out every year to youth athletes. That number continues to increase every year as college sports become more popular/televised than some professional sports in America. The problem is there is no centralised database with normalised scouting reports for a... thletes and scouts; there's no place (like LinkedIn) for them to meet. Ribin's platform seeks to solve this problem. The company was founded in 2021 by ex-SaaS developers/execs who are also former NCAA athletes.
