Financial services industries including asset management, capital markets, and insurance are regulated. As a result, firms in these industries make several filings with their regulators. These filings reveal invaluable information but the data is hard to use. We structure, enrich, and analyze this data to make it actionable. Currently RADiENT acquires data from filings made by asset managers with the SEC. These filings have a depth of information about these firm, their investments, and their c... ustomers. In the aggregate this information is a powerful tool to monitor industry trends including fund flows and service provider activity. We structure, scrub, and normalize this data for analysis using machine learning and natural language processing tools. We then enrich it with information we gather from other public sources such as the news, social media, and related market data. Key use cases: -Investment manager due diligence and ongoing monitoring for investors -Asset management research for consulting firms and financial institutions -Sales prospecting e.g. which financial advisers should a fund complex targeting investment advisers, or a brokerage firm targeting hedge funds -Generating investment ideas e.g. using portfolio disclosures and indications of large holders or insider sales We automatically source, extract, and structure information from government regulatory filings websites run by agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Federal Reserve, and Department of Labor (DOL). In addition, we enrich this data from public sources including FINRA's Broker Check website, other public industry websites, news, and social media. Lastly, we acquire and structure market prices and other data on market indices, investment funds and securities from a diverse set of financial data sources such as financial websites, fund complex websites, fund factsheet documents and investor presentations. Enabling performance charting and risk analysis of securities that are impacted by these regulatory filings including the tracking of complete portfolios of securities.More
