Pintex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a private pharmaceuticals company headquartered in Watertown, MA., that is engaged in the discovery and development of structure-based cancer therapeutics. In particular, the focus of Pintex's research is on the phosphate specific proline isomerase Pin1 enzyme and its key role in cancer. Pintex was founded in May 1999 by Dr. Kun Ping Lu, a Pew scholar at Harvard University, Dr. Walter Gilbert, a Nobel Prize winning professor at Harvard University and Dr. Janusz So... wadski, co-founder of Kinetix Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and a past recipient of the US Supercomputing Award for structure-based kinase inhibitor designs.
