Ping.it is a content discovery platform that links users to relevant stories through its network of user-generated feeds. Ping.it’s Probes feature, uses a complex database to enable users to search the web for interesting and popular content in specific fields and create highly targeted and customizable news feeds. When a story becomes common to multiple feeds, these become linked, allowing users to subscribe to the associated topic feeds and discover areas of interest they may otherwise have missed. Ping.it improves content discovery by displaying intelligent summaries of emerging viral content in the user’s main feed.
