PERSONAL GENOME PROJECT

The Personal Genome Project (PGP) creates a freely available scientific resource that brings together genomic, environmental, and human trait data. It aggregates data donated by volunteers enrolled in a PGP study from its global network. The PGP is supported by PersonalGenomes.org, a charitable organization working to generate, aggregate, and interpret human biological and trait data. The Personal Genome Project was initiated by George Church at Harvard Medical School in 2005 and its operations are based in Boston, Massachusetts.
