PEERCDN
PeerCDN is a provider of peer-to-peer content delivery network (CDN) service for web browsers. It automatically serves the site's static resources (images and file downloads) over a peer-to-peer network made up of the visitors on the site. It claims to reduce bandwidth costs by up to 90 percent by creating a peer-to-peer network. In December 2013 it was acquired by Yahoo, Inc. Before they were acquired, they received funding from Mozilla Ignite, Lightspeed Ventures summer program, and StartX.
