Parents in Need was founded by a core group of parents who all have children or grandchildren with special needs. Having experienced the darkness of a diagnosis followed by the struggle to find the right placement for their children, they want to support other parents through this journey. Some parents become so desperate that they commit suicide. They are an organization that parents can turn to in their hour of need.
