Ovillage is a free and open source third place located in Abdjan in Ivory Coast. It is defined as a space of collective intelligence and social innovation. A space that is neither the office nor the home, a third field of possibilities, which today brings together several young Ivorians, entrepreneurs, employees, freelancers, teleworkers, freelancers and project holders. All of them, with different backgrounds and training, meet in this place to exchange, discuss, share, collaborate and innovat... e together. This space decided to make Libre its culture based on a free, independent and competent community . It is a space of collective intelligence and digital-related social innovation in which, in a spirit of sharing knowledge, young people learn to use free software. In this way, they manage to create applications for GSM, the phone being widely used in Africa.
