Founded by Leanne Turner, a Community Respiratory Therapist with over 10 years experience working with children with complex needs, Optimal is helping children to stay at home, and enjoy their childhood without continuous trips to hospital. Optimal is devised of two components, the Optimal Symptom Tracker App and the Optibreathe wearable device. The app acts as a digital diary for parents to record their child's k... ey health parameters. With the data collected, they can identify trends and detect any changes that may show signs of illness. The OptiBreathe smart wearable works with the app to automatically monitor and record the wearers breathing and heart rates. Providing parents and NHS teams with a 24/7 snapshot of the child’s key health parameters.
