At Northwest Regional Technology Institute in Erie, Pennsylvania, you can get a business or healthcare education under the instruction of seasoned professionals. Students in certain majors may also undertake internship assignments. Medical Assisting students, for example, might intern at a doctor’s office or clinic. Through internships, students gain experience, resume credits and professional references. Northwest Regional Technology Institute offers financial aid awards, including Pell grants and loans. There are also tuition assistance programs for specific populations including veterans, blind or visually impaired students and those who are unemployed or under-employed.
