NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART
For more than 100 years, The New Hampshire Institute of Art (NHIA) in Manchester, New Hampshire, has been training fine artists and art educators. Today, NHIA offers bachelorโs degrees in several artistic disciplines, as well as graduate programs and art classes for the community. Located in Manchester, New Hampshire, NHIA is also one of the most artistically influential institutions in the region. NHIA offers bachelorโs degrees with concentrations in: * Painting * Photography * Ce... ramics * Illustration NHIA also offers a teaching credential, as well as a masterโs degree in art education. All NHIA students get a thorough grounding in art history and theory, as well. NHIA has several art galleries, some of which exhibit art by well-known artists. Some of the galleries also exhibit student work. NHIAโs also offers continuing education courses, which give community members the chance to take non-credit art classes. Admissions applications should be submitted with a personal statement, transcripts, letters of recommendation, ACT or SAT scores and a portfolio of artistic work. NHIA degree students may apply for need-based federal aid awards, including Pell grants, SEOG grants, work-study money and loans. To apply for aid, applicants must submit a FASA.
