NC RIoT operates as an online hub that brings together IoT (Internet of Things) resources and talent. It represents a network of technologists, engineers, business leaders, academics, policy makers, and entrepreneurs in the Internet of Things industry. NC RIoT enables companies, ranging from startups to corporations, to meet frequently and exchange ideas, learn new technologies, and create new opportunities. It also hosts multiple IoT-focused education series known as RIoT ED. Its goal is to help educate business leaders, developers, and engineers on the IoT economy. NC RIoT was launched in 2014 and is based in North Carolina, United States.
