NATIONAL THEATRE CONSERVATORY
The National Theatre Conservatory, an operative component of the Denver Performing Arts Complex in Denver, Colorado, offers three-year academics and membership into Actorโs Equity to actors pursuing graduate-level degrees. The conservatoryโs admissions are highly selective. On a yearly average, only eight students out of approximately 600 applications are accepted. The educational experience provided by the conservatory is an intensive blend of both professional and personal development. Y... ou will learn what it takes to elevate your acting skills to their full potential by cultivating a critical eye and open mind. Outside of rehearsals and performances, you will also learn the business side of the profession. From house management to marketing to event planning, you will receive a comprehensive education in how to successfully market your performances and attract audiences. During the second year of study, students are required to apprentice to the Denver Center Theatre Company, allowing you to gain invaluable learning experiences. Numerous guest speakers and teachers, like Bill Pullman or Patrick Stewart, will inspire your education and share their experiences of professional acting. The conservatory offers financial aid to eligible students through full-tuition stipends that support your entire three years of education.
