NATIONAL FILM BOARD
The National Film Boardis a public agency that produces and distributes films and other audiovisual works which reflect Canada to Canadians and the rest of the world. The agency produces and distributes documentary films, animation, web documentaries, and alternative dramas. The NFB reports to the Parliament of Canada through the Minister of Canadian Heritage. It has English and French language production branches. The National Film Board was established in May 1939 and is headquartered in Montrรฉal, Quebec.
