MLL Munich Leukemia Laboratory is working as a reference laboratory for the diagnosis of hematologic malignancies focussing on leukemia and lymphoma. All 132 coworkers (physicians, molecular biologists, biostatisticians, and technicians) have outstanding reputation in the field of comprehensive diagnostics. In parallel, cytomorphology, cytochemistry, immunophenotyping, cytogenetics, FISH, and molecular genetic techniques such as PCR as well as new techniques such as next-generation sequenc... ing are performed. The seven day available work-flow is orientated to the clinical needs of patients and physicians. MLL serves as a reference laboratory for German and European leukemia studies and is a SME-member in the European Leukemia Network (ELN). Education programms are provided for physicians and technicians.
