The founder Carleen Lyden Walker grew up sailing competitively on Lakes Erie, Huron, Michigan, and St. Claire in Michigan and grew up avoiding ore carriers. Prior to joining Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, she developed relationships within the commercial maritime community as she followed her marketing interests. In 1992, Carleen began dedicating her full attention to this industry, culminating in her own marketing and communications business in 2000.More
