Monivent AB has developed a specially designed face mask that, with the help of an integrated sensor module, measures airflow, providing manual ventilation to a newborn who does not breathe spontaneously. Through continuous feedback, it helps the staff to give the child manual ventilation with the right amount of air based on the weight of the child. This reduces the risk of permanent damage to the child's lungs.
