Missouri Western State University is a learning community that helps students receive a quality education through applied learning, and prepares them to be leaders in their careers and communities. A member of the State of Missouri school system, the school was originally founded in 1915. The campus is located in St. Joseph, Missouri. The accredited university offers more than 70 undergraduate and graduate programs. The university houses several residence halls for students in an effort to help them take full advantage of college life. The Financial Aid Office is a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and is very dedicated to helping students minimize the amount of student loan debt.
