MOBILIZATION FOR JUSTICE
Mobilization for Justice strives to end poverty, discrimination, and disability by achieving social justice. By providing civil legal assistance of the highest quality, participating in community education and forming partnerships, advancing policy advocacy, and bringing impact litigation, this is accomplished. Founded in 1960, Mobilization for Justice has served low-income and poor New Yorkers with civil legal services for over five decades. The organization began as the legal arm of Mobilization for Youth, a large community-based anti-poverty program founded in 1962.
