Merris began manufacturing its first dispensers in 1969, when tinting colour in shops was the new way of giving customers more choice in paint selection. The business was largely focussed on the UK, supplying major paint companies such as ICI Dulux, Crown and Leyland Paints. Today the company produces a wide range of paint mixers and dispensers that are sold on the global market. Products such as the class-leading 5- liter Minimix Vibrational Shaker, which is the smallest unit on th... e market, mixes most paints in an amazing 30 seconds. It is sold now into aerospace, car refinish and inks, as well as the decorative paints. In 2011 the Minimix was sold into the US market for the first time. The company’s exciting plans include the launch of 5 new products in 2012, and in developing new markets, such as in the US. Merris also has under development a new consumer-based product for the DIY market that it plans to market in 2013.More
