It was developed with support from a UK DTI Research and Development grant, and tested with over 50% of the UKs cardiologists prior to launch. The Founder is Dr Asif Qasim, a leading cardiologist in London and Clinical Director of an NHS Trust, who has a proven track record in medical education and training. He has a clear vision and strategy to de... velop MedShr globally and in multiple specialties and has teamed up with an experienced management and advisory team to make this happen. As of mid-2017, there are now over 250,000 doctors, medical students & healthcare professionals in 180+ countries using MedShr. MedShr has been featured on the BBC, Sky News, The Telegraph & The Evening Standard. More recently, MedShr was named FB Start's Social Good App of the Year 2016.
