In addition, the NPs provide health information and make recommendations for further evaluation. Matrix began providing care management services in 2001, and pioneered the use of a national network of highly trained, employee NPs to conduct health assessments in the member’s home or nursing facility. In 2012, the company completed more than 224,000, 60-minute-plus assessments. Matrix is one of the largest providers of prospective health assessments in the country.
