Maintain My Car is a new type of vehicle maintenance, repair and servicing company, also known as a car garage. Their aim is simple, to make motoring more affordable. Like all great ideas this one started with a problem, one faced by so many motorists. A car in need of emergency repairs having broken down and it coming at the worst possible time when money is tight. As Nick Smith, their founder, looked around for a fixed fee maintenance plan, to his amazement, he couldn't find one. The n... earest thing he found was a warranty service, a service that was selective over what it covered, a claim having to be made for any work and forms to fill in. This just wasn't right, when your car breaks down the last thing you want to do is fill in forms, you just want your car repaired. Nick found that the most expensive part of any bill tended to be the labour costs, with some garages charging up to £40 per hour, some even more. With this in mind, Nick started to create Maintain My Car, a company that would cover all labour costs. He then realised that the best way to stop break downs was through high quality maintenance. And so Maintain My Car was formed, to maintain, service and repair vehicles for a fixed monthly fee, meaning their customers simply have to pay for parts at cost price.More
