Our goal is to enhance the opportunities for our fourteen member unions and the professional tradespersons they represent. The depth of experience represented by our membership is truly impressive and ever increasing. The mandate for the Building Trades is to supply a skilled and productive workforce for our contractors and owners. The unionized Building Trades includes over 11,000 professional tradespeople, including 2,700 apprentices in Nova Scotia – a significant portion of our working middle class.
