Mackmyra Swedish Whiskey AB was formed in March 1999 and started a pilot distillery in the same year. The first drops of raw whiskey were distilled on December 18, 1999. Mackmyra's business idea is that life lovers in Sweden, the Nordic region and the rest of the world will be offered an attractive range of whiskey and whiskey-related products through the strong brand Mackmyra. Almi Invest, together with four private investors, has invested in Mackmyra Svensk Whiskey AB.
