M3-CLIC (Cognitive Linguistic Intelligent Catalyst) Throughout the history of computing, applications have relied on modeling the real world using a mechanistic model based on classifying, structuring and operating on information in a way that is convenient for computers. In particular, where computers attempt to model those areas where the process of human perception is important, this has required human thought processes to be approximated into a mechanistic model, and that mechanistic m... odel to be presented back in a digestible form. This is both inaccurate and inefficient. M3-CLIC have developed a means of structuring information in the same way humans use to communicate in language, which according to the assertions of Chomsky and Bateson is central to human cognition. This allows computers to follow the model of human model of perceiving the real world, wherein the deep structure of language is essential to cognition, rather than accepting the assumption of the mechanistic model that cognition is essential to language. This in turn allows applications based on M3-IP's core technologies to eliminate the inherent inaccuracies and inefficiencies of traditional computing. Therefore, M3-CLIC's technologies may represent a Schumpeterian innovation, as their applications are as broad as the field of computing itself, and represent an approach which is both fundamentally different and highly advantageous. The keys to the next phase of M3-IP's development are; firstly to prove the efficacy of those core technologies by refining and testing the algorithms and data structures on which it is based, placing them in an Internet connected, multi-user environment so it may both accumulate information and be proven, and identifying and developing revenue generating applications in fields in which they are advantageous in order to prove their profit potential. This business plan, therefore, represents an opportunity to invest at the early stage in a technology which will prove to be highly disruptive in a potentially huge set of markets, and share in the future success of a multitude of businesses sustained by the protection of its unique value. Everybody expects General Intelligence to take a long time in the future. Our claim in Silicon Valley is that we have a prototype where we can demonstrate the discovery technology which will give our partner a paradigm shift competitive edge.
