LOS ANGELES MISSION COLLEGE

Established in 1975, Los Angeles Mission College is the newest member of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). Despite its youth, the school provides extensive educational resources to its students. With courses in nearly 65 disciplines from Engineering to Interior Design, there’s something for everyone in LAMC’s academics. The school also provides numerous financial aid opportunities, including state and federal grants, to eligible students. The Bio Lab, Child Development Center, Health & Physical Education Center, and Family & Consumer Studies Building are among the recently completed and ongoing campus improvements. The college is also part of LACCD’s Sustainable Building Program, a $6 billion green construction project to update LA’s community colleges for maximum sustainability.
