LoanMajor's goal is to provide relevant information and tools about student loans. Through our site, students can understand what a college education will cost them and estimate how much they will have to pay back. The first tool, the College Search Calculator, uses average out of pockets costs based on family income to estimate a student's total loans at graduation. This takes into account funds that the student and parent can commit, and outside scholarships. The goal of this calculator is to... make sure students are applying to colleges that are affordable based on their situation. The second tool, the College Selection Calculator, allows the user to compare financial aid packages. It estimates total loans at graduation based on inputs from the aid package and what the user chooses to fund their education with.
