Individual sensors with built in battery power and bluetooth communication are attached to the fence, gates, widows, doors... Each sensor is able to measure a number of motion, orientation disturbances. While it would pose a security risk to disclose the internal operation of the sensor , it is sufficient to mention that the sensors detect movement, vibration and displacement. The speed, intensity and displacement g... ets measured along with other factors. ​ While more than one sensor might detect a fence movement or tampering, the detection intensity measured differs among them allowing the software to identify the sensor closest to the occurrence. ​ Each sensor is configured with their GPS coordinates at the location where they are placed and these locations are indicated in the monitoring dashboard that is available on a Lixodex computer dashboard application in the control room and on the mobile phone application. ​ Sensors communicate using Bluetooth 5, and are set up to be able to send messages from one to the other until reaching the Lixodex computer gateway , from where alarm conditions are monitored together with accurate time and date records and forwarded to all monitoring services as well as cloud based storage for record keeping. It is an auto-route-finding, self healing directional mesh network. ​ Sensors have inbuilt machine learning algorithms that allow them to learn how to detect cutting, climbing and fiddling with a fence. Sensors are also taught to ignore vibrations caused by the gate opening or a trees rubbing against the fence in the wind. Aside from the sensors communicating alarm conditions they also regularly communicate with the gateway computer to ensure network integrity and sensor statuses including battery level. Sensor battery life is 5 years subject to normal operating conditions as specified by the manufacturer.More
