LIBP2P
A libp2p is a modular and extensible networking stack which solves many challenges of peer-to-peer applications. libp2p is capable of discovering other peers without resourcing to centralized registries, enabling apps to work disconnected from the backbone. libp2p is an open source project from the IPFS community. There are many ways you can contribute by getting involved: you can help write the specification, code implementations and tools using libp2p, craft examples and tutorials, and join their regular product calls to discuss libp2p with them.
